Q. What is the Forestry Revolving Fund?
A. A fund was set up by the Government of Guyana and Demerara Bank of 900 M @ 4% interest to assist Forestry operations in increasing production and value adding.

A. All stakeholders in the Forestry Industries – Loggers, Sawmillers, Timber Dealers, Value added Producers and other stakeholders.

Q. What documents an applicant is required to have?
A. A pre-screening application form has been developed to guide applicant, the main aspect is to indicate the purpose of the loan, identity documents such as business registration, identification card, concession or licence number, and the value or amount of loan being applied for.
Q. Do I need a consultant to prepare my application?
A. No a simple outline of what you want the loan for and the amount. When the application goes to the bank, a loan application form and other documentation will be required as per banking guidelines.
Q. Who has to approve the loan?
A. Demerara Bank has the final determination of granting the loan.
