The Guyana Forestry Commission (GFC) is inviting comments from Forest Sector Operators (FSOs), particularly Sawmillers and lumberyard operators, and the general public on this draft code. Write comments can be sent to the Commissioner, GFC, Lot 1 Water Street, Kingston, Georgetown, Guyana. Comments can also be submitted to: forestrygy.gov.gy
All written comments must be submitted on or before September 15, 2024.
Oral comments can be made at the public engagements to be held under a schedule to be publicized next week via the GFC website and appropriate media.
